AUGUST

Sunday 2nd

Sapphic Flicks with Tiger Salmon - every first Sunday of the month 5-9pm (Email theoriginalmswicked@gmail.com to join mailing list)

Monday 3rd

Sounding: Open Improv- 1st Mondays ( DM us for more info at hello@extrasensory.com.au ) 7-10pm

Free. All genres. Open to all players. No audience.

Each session begins by reading a community agreement about "how" we are going to play together at the beginning of the session, based on something like this, then we proceed to play with whoever has shown up, using combinations chosen randomly by picking names out of a hat/bowl/whatever.  All players will participate, there will be no audience. The idea is to collaborate on our own community agreement that over time codifies what's important to the group. By speaking the agreement out loud at the beginning, we create a mantra for building meaningful and connective musical relationships while providing clear instructions for any new folks who show up about how we roll. There are no limitations on genre or skill level, everyone interested in improvising with sound is welcome.
